They learn spreadsheet skills such as formulas, relative and absolute referencing, data validation, conditional formatting and forecasting via guided tasks. Charts are created with trendlines that are extrapolated forwards to help plan for the future.  There are then 18 spreadsheet tasks covering the topics of sport, personal finances, students, the environment, business, and staff and salaries.  These tasks offer a wealth of practice in the targetted skills for students of all abilities.
